Pooled Populations from the AKF

These T-DNA pools were donated by Michael Sussman and Rick Amasino at the Arabidopsis Knockout Facility (AKF).
Plasmid Construct
The construct, introduced into Arabidopsis ecotype Columbia (Col) via Agrobacterium vacuum infiltration, is called pD991-AP3. It is a derivative of the pD991, vector from Dr. Thomas Jack as shown Figure 1 (below).

Selectable Marker
As seen in Figure 1, the positive selectable marker is the NPTII (kanamycin resistance) gene which is driven by 35S promoter.
